Peterson Match Rifle Brass is manufactured on a new, state-of-the-art case line, which uses cutting-edge technology to produce some of the most precise and consistent casings on the market. Peterson is committed to producing Match-Grade brass that enables Peterson customers to get more reloads per casing than the industry average. The entire drawing brass process takes place in Peterson’s manufacturing facility located in Cranberry Township, PA.
Perceiving that there was not a source of really good, match-grade, sniper quality rifle brass made in the US. Peterson decided that they wanted theirs to be as good as or better than the best foreign match-grade brass.
So Peterson spent more than a year studying the casings of the best foreign manufacturers. They ran scores of tests on annealing temperatures to get the grain structure just right. They cut the casings in half and studied the internal geometry of the best foreign brands, to uncover their secrets, and where possible, improve on them. In their lab, they studied the amount of force required to insert a projectile into the case mouth – what is called neck tension. This enabled them to ensure that Peterson’s casings were optimal for bullet release. The end result is possibly the most accurate shooting rifle casings on the market. As a result, Peterson supplies many elite military sniper units, and police SWAT teams around the world.
All Peterson cartridges come packed in one of their plastic ammo boxes.
