How to Package Your Knives for Shipment  

 

Ideally, all knives should be shipped in their sheaths to prevent damage to the blade edges and the shipping box. If a sheath for a given knife is not available then the full length of it’s blade should be wrapped in cardboard as shown below with the sharp edge facing into the fold. You can also use heavy paper or multiple layers of newspaper. Be sure to add a piece of tape on the end of the blade closest to the handle to prevent the cardboard from sliding off the blade. Finally please ensure there is sufficient padding in the box to keep the knife from shifting excessively in the box.
